The Holiday Playscheme is based on the ground floor of the Neighbourhood Centre, comprising of two playrooms, kitchen and downstairs toilet, we have full use of the adjoining hall with accessible toilets. Outside is a good size garden that leads onto a large meadow. Fabulous! I think other people would like it because there are lots of things to do. There is a slide outside or if you are older, there is a pool table that you can play with a friend.
The playscheme is a small and friendly setting ran by Lyn Collins, a qualified primary school teacher. Three members of staff are on duty at all times all having been checked and hold disclosure certificates and are deemed suitable to work with children. The playworkers create a safe environment where play is encouraged and supported offering stimulating and challenging activities for all ages. The best bits are playing with clay, the playhouse outside and most of us love painting.

The scheme was set up in response for the need for quality affordable childcare for working parents in the Brislington area during the school holidays for children aged between 4 years and 11 years old.
The aim is to make sure that each child’s time spent at playscheme is both productive and enjoyable. We value and respect individuality and diversity and encourage children to be sensitive to the needs of others, the children are involved in the planning of activities, choosing resources and creating rules.
